Professional Practices Seminar

The first of the annual Professional Practices Seminars, this one for our graduate students in creative writing (MFAs and PhD minors) and our Institute fellows, will be held tomorrow, September 24, from 11:30-1:30 in 6191 Helen C. White Hall. Jesse Lee will be discussing the basics of the academic job search (CVs, cover letters, interviewing tips and much more), while Amaud will discuss post-graduate and summer fellowship opportunities.

This is also a chance to say hi to Amy Quan Barry, who has taken over the position of MFA director.

But most of all, it's a chance to eat free pizza.

Also, stay tuned for announcements of future professional practices seminars including one for undergrads and MFAs featuring Seth Abramson answering questions about the MFA and Creative Writing PhD degrees.
