New Carl Djerassi Fellowship in Playwriting

The Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing has announced that it will be awarding a one-year fellowship to an emerging or mid-career playwright commencing with academic year 2010-11. Carl Djerassi, the generous donor who has made this fellowship possible and who also funds Institute's Djerassi Fiction Fellowship and Diane Middlebrook Poetry Fellowship, is, of course, not only a renowned chemist, but also an internationally celebrated novelist and playwright.
