Congrats to former undergrad Nickolas Butler ('02) who is on a roll lately. As recipient of the Roark Prize in Poetry, Nick will have a series of poems appear in The Lumberyard. Other poems have recently appeared in Wisconsin People and Ideas Magazine, on The New Verse News, and in Madison Magazine. (The poem in Madison Magazine, "First Unitarian Society of Madison, WI" was also recorded.) Nick also has an essay on Bret Favre in Volume One.
In the midst of all this, Nick is responsible for one other significant creative endeavor, a collaboration with wife Regina: that would be his new son Henry James "Bear" Butler.
