First, congratulations to Professor Emerita Kelly Cherry on being named poet laureate of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Congratulations, too, to former Institute fiction fellow Anthony Doerr on the insightful review of his new collection Memory Wall in this Sunday's New York Times Book Review.
And finally former Institute fiction fellow Ed Porter has a pretty-hard-to-resist story entitled Cameron Diaz and I are in Love up on Booth Journal. He's claiming it's fiction, but...
