The Creative Writing cohort--the faculty, the Institute fellows, and the graduate students, as well as their partners and kids, some alumni and friends, and a Newfoundland puppy named Tank--gathered at the annual picnic at RON WALLACE's farm on Saturday, Sept. 4th. The day was brisk but sunny and a good time was had by all. Many thanks to Ron and his might spatula.
That photo makes me very homesick for Wisconsin. And hills.
