Fawlt Magazine: Call for Submissions

Dear Ms. Mitchell,

My name is Ryan Joe and I'm a fiction editor at Fawlt Magazine, an online literary journal. We're currently soliciting submissions for our November 15th issue, and I was hoping you could either place this notice on your MFA listserv or if you could circulate it among your fiction/non-fiction/poetry students.

We've already published some amazing writers including Franz Wright, Brian Evenson, and David Shields, but it's most exciting when we can find someone who is at the early stages of his or her career.

Thanks for your help,

Ryan Joe

About Fawlt Magazine

Fawlt Magazine is an online quarterly about human fallacy. With each new issue, we feature previously-unpublished poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and artwork from creators both new and established. Chiefly, we look for innovative writing about People With Problems. Because while it might be more comforting to ignore the quirks and contradictions that make us human, how interesting could that possibly be?

Where do I submit?

Please email your work to editor (at) fawltmag.com. We don't have a problem with simultaneous submissions, but please notify us immediately if your work has been published elsewhere.

What should I submit?

Whatever you want, as long as it's no more than three stories or five poems at a time.

Should I attach a cover letter?

We'd appreciate it. While you, the writer, might prefer to preserve the mystique, from our end, it's nice to know a little about our contributors.

When will I hear back?

We're an incredibly small crew and do not always read as fast as we'd like. We try to respond within three months, but we are not always very good at doing so. If you haven't heard from us within that timeframe, feel free to drop us a line asking, "Hey, what's up?"

$$$?

Man. If only.

When's the deadline?

Please send your submission by November 1.
