The Journalism School is having a launch party for their new journal Corkboard. Our own MICHELLE WILDGEN is one of the featured readers.

Pyle Center, AT&T Lounge, 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 9

A dinner reception featuring lavish appetizers and cider available to all attendees. Also a cash bar for those who want something more.

Featured readings to include:

Michelle Wildgen, UW English Department, editor of Tin House Magazine, nationally recognized feature and literary non-fiction writer

Raphael Kadushin, Senior Acquisitions Editor, UW Press, long-time food columnist for Bon Appetit, international travel and food writer and author of critically acclaimed short stories

Bill Lueders, news editor of Isthmus, author of two high-profile local books, Watchdog and Cry Rape

Corkboard editors Erica Pelzek, Andrew Kasper, and Allie Tempus will present four $100 prizes to the best entries in fall edition.i
