News Round-up:

EMMA STRAUB (Institute fiction fellow; MFA fiction) has a new book. It's called Other People We Married. It is already getting amazingly great reviews. She'll be reading from it at BookCourt in Brooklyn, NY tomorrow (1/27). And just look at this picture. If it doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will.

Other things to make us all smile:

ANTOINE WILSON (Institute fiction fellow) has a story, "Panorama City," up on A Public Space.

JOEL BROUWER (Institute poetry fellow) is interviewed here in Ploughshares.

JOHN MURILLO (Institute poetry fellow) is interviewed on poetry blog Frontal Junkyard.

HEATHER LEE SCHROEDER (MFA fiction) has a new blog about her new life in her new hometown called Knoxville Shine.

TRACI BRIMHALL (Institute poetry fellow) is interviewed on First Book Interviews. (While you're there, check out their earlier interviews with former undergrads CHRISTOPHER BAKKEN and MARK WUNDERLICH)

And we are pleased to share the news that BETHANN FENNELLY (Institute poetry fellow) and her husband Tom Franklin welcomed their third child and second son, Nolan, to the world last week. Congratulations, y'all.

Is there more news out there? Send it to me! I'll be forever grateful.
