Along with applications for its fiction, poetry and playwriting fellowships, the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing is currently accepting applications for the Halls Emerging Artist Fellowship. The deadline for applications is February 28.

The HEAF is awarded to a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Creative Writing MFA program (through and including the current graduating class of poets) who has not had a book of fiction, poetry or other creative work published or accepted for publication as of the postmark date of application. There is a lot more information on our website. You can also contact Judy Mitchell, director of the Institute, or Amy Barry, director of the MFA program.
