Stegner Coups for UW-Madison

Count 'em: three of the newly accepted Wallace Stegner Fellows are UW-Madison MFA and Fellow alums: Jacques Rancourt (2011 poetry MFA, 2011-'12 HEAF Fellow), Nicole Cullen (2011-2012 Carol Houck Smith Fiction Fellow), and Lydia Fitzpatrick (2010-2011 Carl Djerassi Fiction Fellow) will join 2011 poetry MFA Kai Carlson-Wee at Stanford this fall. If you're doing the math (like we are), this means that 20% of next year's resident Stegner Fellows will be UW-Madison alums.
