Join us for a poetry reading featuring the University of Wisconsin Press's 2012 Brittingham and Felix Pollak Prizewinners, Jazzy Danziger and Mark Wagenaar, this Thursday at 7:30 in Helen C. White Hall, room 6191.

Jazzy Danziger is the 2012 winner of the Brittingham Prize, for her collection "Dark Room". She studied at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Virginia, where she was a Henry Hoyns/Poe-Faulkner Fellow in poetry. She has served as the editor of Meridian and series editor for the Best New Poets anthology. She lives in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mark Wagenaar is the 2012 winner of the Felix Pollak Prize, for his book "Voodoo Inverso". He is a past winner of the Yellowwood Poetry Prize, the Greg Grummer Poetry Award, the Matt Clark Poetry Prize, the Oberon Poetry Prize, the Gary Gildner Poetry Award, & the contests of Fugue magazine & Columbia. His poetry appears widely, including in the Southern Review, New England Review, Subtropics, and most recently in Copper Nickel and Mid-American Review. He lives in Denton, where he & his wife, the poet Chelsea Wagenaar, are doctoral fellows at the University of North Texas.
