FRIDAY NIGHT WRITES

Here are some UW-writing-related tidbits to brighten your weekend:

The photo above is a sneak peak of the cover art of Former Institute fellow AIMEE NEZHUKUMATATHIL's third poetry collection, Lucky Fish, which Tupelo Press will release in January 2011.

Former undergrad ADAM FELL has a poem up on Friday Night Poetry Series Presents.

Avery Anthology founded and edited by, among others, ADAM KOEHLER, a former PhD student with a Creative Writing minor, reminds folks that there is still time to enter Avery's Small Spaces Fiction Prize competition, judged by Junot Diaz.

Our current MFA poetry student NANCY REDDY has a poem up on linebreak.

FiveChapters serializes former undergrad PATRICK SOMMERVILLE's story The Wildlife Biologist.

So let's see: we've got news here from at least one undergrad, MFA student, Institute fellow and PhD minor. That about covers it, I think.
