Congratulations to our current Institute fiction fellow, LYDIA FITZPATRICK, who has won Glimmer Train's September Fiction Open. Her story "In a Library, In Saltillo" will appear in the the winter 2012 issue of Glimmer Train.

And more good news: NPR's Alan Cheuse names DANIELLE EVANS' Before You Suffocate Your Own Fool Self as one of the five best books of winter 2010. Also on the list is Man in the Woods by former UW-Madison English major SCOTT SPENCER.
