Congratulations to former McCreight fiction fellow Frances Hwang who received a 2010 National Endowment for the Arts fellowship in prose. Frances is the author of the story collection Transparency, which received the American Academy of Arts and Letters’ Sue Kaufman Prize for First Fiction and a PEN/Beyond Margins Award. Frances is currently teaching at St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana.
