NICK LANTZ, our former MFA and Institute poetry fellow, has received The Great Lakes Colleges Association's New Writers Award for his first collection, We Don't Know We Don't Know. Now in its 42nd year, the New Writers Award confers recognition on promising writers who have published a first volume in fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. Winning writers receive invitations to visit GLCA member colleges, where they give readings, meet and talk about writing with students and faculty member.
